Melanie began her career at Accenture in Change Management,
specializing in the roll out of new technology. While in this role she
acquired deep skills in curriculum design and course delivery,
integrating experiential and adult learning principles to maximize
retention and transference of new skills for her
participants. In
1999, Melanie left consulting to join a startup company in the
Healthcare industry in an organizational development role.
During
the next five years, Melanie built deep skills in competency modeling,
organizational culture assessments, career coaching, and the use of
assessments like the Myers Briggs Type Indicator, Predictive Index, and
Organizational Culture Inventory. To round out her experience, Melanie
joined a Financial Services company as a Learning & Development
Specialist where she mastered her coaching and facilitation skills as
she worked with all levels of the organization to design and deliver
more than 25 different programs that focused on communication,
productive conflict, team building, and leadership skills.
Melanie’s ability to listen and solicit engagement, enable
her to
approach her clients in an organizational development framework, where
nothing happens in isolation. She takes the time to fully
understand the whole context: business strategy, organizational
culture, team fit, competencies and skills. When all of these
things are in alignment the result is a high performing and successful
organization.
